देवीचा / श्री एकमुखी दत्तगुरूंचा नामजप करत एक-एक चिमूटभर कुंकू देवीच्या / श्री एकमुखी दत्तगुरूंच्या चरणांपासून प्रारंभ करून तिच्या डोक्यापर्यंत वहावे अथवा देवीचा / श्री एकमुखी दत्तगुरूंचा नामजप करत मूर्तीला कुंकवाने / अष्टगंधाने स्नान घालने म्हणजेच कुंकुमार्चन / अष्टगंध मार्चन होय. कुंकुमार्चन पूजेसाठी वापरले जाणारे कुंकू हे हळदीपासून बनवलेले कुंकूच असले पाहिजे. कुंकुवामध्ये देवीचे तत्त्व आकर्षित करण्याची प्रचंड क्षमता असते. म्हणूनच देवीला कुंकू आणि कुंकुमार्चन अतिशय प्रिय आहे. कुंकुमार्चन / अष्टगंध मार्चन पूजेद्वारे देविकृपा / श्री एकमुखी दत्त कृपा शिघ्र प्राप्त होते.

महाचंडी यज्ञ हा एक अत्यंत शक्तिशाली धार्मिक विधी आहे, जो जीवनातील सर्व अडथळे दूर करण्यासाठी आणि नकारात्मक शक्तींपासून संरक्षण देण्यासाठी केला जातो. या यज्ञाने घरात समृद्धी, उत्तम आरोग्य आणि यश प्राप्त होते, तसेच व्यक्तीला आध्यात्मिक शुद्धीकरण आणि देवी चंडीचा आशीर्वाद मिळतो. हा यज्ञ जागतिक शांततेसाठीही महत्त्वाचा मानला जातो. या यज्ञाचे मुख्य प्रकार म्हणजे शतचंडी यज्ञ (यात दुर्गा सप्तशतीचे १०० किंवा १०८ पाठ केले जातात) आणि लक्षचंडी यज्ञ (ज्यात याच स्तोत्राचे एक लाख पाठ केले जातात); याव्यतिरिक्त देवीची शक्ती आणि कृपा मिळवण्यासाठी विशेषतः नवरात्रीत कुंकुमार्चन केले जाते.

The Mahachandi Yagya is an immensely powerful religious ritual performed to remove all obstacles in life and offer protection from negative energies. This sacrifice is believed to bring prosperity, good health, and success, granting the individual spiritual purification and the blessings of Goddess Chandi. It is also significant for global peace. The main types of this Yagya are the Shatachandi Yagya (involving 100 or 108 recitations of the Durga Saptashati) and the Lakshachandi Yagya (a more potent form with 100,000 recitations); additionally, the ritual of Kumkumarchan is performed, especially during Navratri, to invoke the Goddess's power and grace.

अन्नदान सेवा / Anndan Seva

अन्नदान हे हिंदू धर्मात सर्व दानांमध्ये सर्वश्रेष्ठ मानले जाते, कारण ते सर्व पापांचा नाश करते आणि दान करणाऱ्याच्या २१ पिढ्यांचा उद्धार करते. गरजू व भुकेलेल्यांना अन्न दिल्याने इहलोक आणि परलोक या दोन्ही ठिकाणी सुख व परम कल्याण प्राप्त होते. अन्नदान हे आदराचे प्रतीक आहे आणि त्याचे पुण्य मोठे असल्यामुळे अन्नछत्र किंवा तीर्थक्षेत्री केलेले अन्नदान विशेष महत्त्वाचे ठरते. अन्नदान न केल्यास परलोकात उपाशी राहावे लागते, असे मानले जाते.

Annadaan (The Gift of Food) is considered the greatest of all donations in Hinduism, as it is believed to destroy all sins and bring salvation to 21 generations of the donor. Offering food to the needy and hungry secures ultimate well-being and happiness both in this life and the afterlife. Annadaan is a symbol of respect, and performing it in places of pilgrimage (teerthakshetra) or charity kitchens (annachhatra) is considered highly meritorious. Conversely, it is believed that those who do not offer food will suffer hunger in the afterlife.

भिक्षादान सेवा / Bhikshadan Seva

भिक्षादानाचे महत्त्व श्री गुरूचरित्रातील पाचव्या अध्यायात विशेषत्वाने सांगितले आहे. यात दत्तगुरू हे मध्यान्ह समयी (माधान्ह काळी) भिक्षा ग्रहण करतात, म्हणून अतिथी रूपात आलेल्या कोणालाही रिक्त हस्ते परत पाठवू नये असा संदेश आहे. अतिथींमध्ये दत्तप्रभू असू शकतात, या श्रद्धेने भिक्षादान करणे महत्त्वाचे आहे. पीठापूर क्षेत्रावर, श्राद्धाच्या वेळी माता सुमतीने अतिथी वेशातील श्री दत्तात्रेयांना आस्थेने भिक्षा घातली. तिच्या 'अतिथी देवो भव' या आदराने प्रसन्न होऊन दत्तप्रभूंनी तिला आशीर्वाद दिला आणि याच आशीर्वादाने कालांतराने श्रीपाद श्रीवल्लभ (दत्तात्रेयांचा पहिला अवतार) यांचा जन्म झाला. म्हणूनच दत्तभक्तांसाठी पीठापूर हे क्षेत्र आणि मध्यान्ह समयीचे भिक्षादान अनन्यसाधारण महत्त्वाचे आहे.

The Significance of Offering Alms (Bhikshadaan) is prominently featured in the fifth chapter of the Shri Guru Charitra. It emphasizes that Lord Dattatreya accepts alms during midday (Madhyanha Kaal), and therefore, one should never turn away a guest empty-handed, as the Lord might appear in the form of a guest (Atithi). At Pithapuram, during a Shraddha ritual, Mother Sumati devoutly offered alms to Lord Dattatreya, who had arrived in the guise of a guest. Pleased by her hospitality (Atithi Devo Bhava), Dattatreya blessed her, and from this blessing, Shripada Shri Vallabha (Dattatreya's first incarnation) was later born. For devotees, Pithapuram and the act of offering midday alms thus hold immense spiritual importance.

दत्ताची पालखी ही दत्त संप्रदायाच्या धार्मिक श्रद्धा, भक्ती आणि परंपरेचे प्रतीक आहे. प्रामुख्याने दत्त जयंतीला (मार्गशीर्ष पौर्णिमा) काढला जाणारा हा सोहळा, दत्तगुरूंच्या जन्माचा उत्सव साजरा करतो आणि त्यांच्या महतीचा आदर करतो. पालखीमुळे दत्तभक्त एकत्र येतात, भजन-कीर्तन करतात आणि आपली भक्ती व एकता व्यक्त करतात. या पारंपरिक मिरवणुकीमुळे लोकांना आध्यात्मिक शांती आणि समाधान मिळते, तसेच समाजातील सलोखा वाढतो. पालखी हे सन्मान आणि वैभवाचे देखील प्रतीक मानले जाते.

The Dattatreya Palkhi (Palanquin) symbolizes the religious faith, devotion, and tradition of the Dattatreya sect. This procession, primarily taken out on Datta Jayanti (Margashirsha Pournima), celebrates the birth of Lord Dattatreya and honours his glory. The Palkhi brings devotees together, allowing them to express their devotion and unity through bhajans and kirtans. This traditional ceremony provides people with spiritual peace and contentment, while also fostering social harmony. The Palkhi is also regarded as a symbol of honour and grandeur.

Tuladaan is recognized as a Mahadaan (great donation) in Hinduism, where an individual donates gold, silver, grains, or other goods equal to their body weight. Especially in the Kali Yuga, this ritual is considered vital for attaining liberation (moksha) and gaining health, happiness, and prosperity in life. The procedure involves placing the person on one side of a scale and objects of equal weight on the other side, which are then donated.
